The Parental Policy is applicable only to employees across Kulfi Collective.

A parent is someone who is legally responsible for a child through a natural birthing process, adoption and other methods. Just to be clear for the sake of this policy, being an aunt, uncle or godparent does not constitute being a parent. This policy covers same sex couples as well.

At Kulfi, parents are divided into 2 categories:

<aside> <img src="/icons/people_purple.svg" alt="/icons/people_purple.svg" width="40px" /> Caregiving Parent - Anyone who is jointly taking care of the child irrespective of gender or how they became parents

</aside>

A birthing parent has to have spent at least 80 days in the last 12 months in the company, and a caregiving parent at least 180 days in the last 12 months to be eligible for this policy. All leave mentioned is this policy is paid leave.
